The Story of Jannell Lee & UX Design
Hi! I’m Jannell, a UX designer with a background in psychology, research, and administration. I have always had a strong interest in human behavior which led to my studies in psychology and social behavior at UC Irvine. I became a research assistant while working on my BA and grew fascinated with uncovering patterns in human behavior in real time and during data analysis.
Recently, I began taking online courses during my free time and discovered UX design. I was immediately interested in the field and enrolled in various courses, which ultimately led me towards a Certificate in UX Design. My passion for UX design grew as I discovered that it was the perfect blend of my interests in human behavior and research.
My diverse background has given me the necessary skills to excel as a UX designer. Having the knowledge and interest in human psychology keeps me grounded in designing with the user in mind. My experiences as a research assistant taught me how to communicate to a variety of audiences, analyze data to uncover patterns in behavior, and the importance of thoroughness as to not skew data.
I am looking forward to applying the skills that I have acquired to create digital products that stem from human needs and impact their lives in a positive way.
